WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE (Robert Aldrich, 1962, USA) The fear and anxiety are palpable in nearly every scene between these two legendary Divas as a barbed Bette Davis spars with a subdued Joan Crawford…in character, of course. The film ends on a California beach as Baby Jane has finally lost all touch with reality and mentally reverts back to the little girl…but is her sister dead???
